Samt Files ("the app", "we") is a file manager for Android with storage-cleaning and phone tools: File Manager, Storage Cleaner, ZIP tools, APK Extractor, App Permissions viewer and Device Info. This policy explains what the app accesses on your phone and why. The short version: the app has no internet permission, so nothing you do in it ever leaves your phone. We do not collect, store, sell or share any data.

1. Summary The app has no internet permission and makes no network requests of any kind. No account or sign-up, no advertising, and no analytics, crash-reporting or tracking SDKs. We do not operate any server, and we have no access to your files or data. Everything the app reads is processed and shown only on your device. 2. What the app accesses and why

You can deny or revoke any permission in your device settings; only the related feature will stop working.

Access Used for Leaves the device? App Permissions: show which apps hold sensitive permissions (camera, microphone, location, SMS, contacts and others) and open the system settings page so you can change them. No Request to uninstall apps Opens the standard Android uninstall dialog when you tap "Uninstall". You always confirm in the system dialog; the app never removes apps by itself. Deleting files: the app deletes files only when you ask it to, after you have reviewed and confirmed the items. The Storage Cleaner never touches the protected Android/data and Android/obb folders.

What the app does not use: internet, camera, microphone, location, contacts, SMS, call log, notifications or advertising ID.

3. Data stored by the app

The app keeps a small amount of information in its private storage on your device, such as your favorite folders, recently opened items, ZIP history and app settings (language, theme). This data never leaves your device and is deleted when you clear the app's data or uninstall the app.

Files you create with the app (ZIP archives, APK backups) are saved in Download/SamtFiles on your device, where you can manage them like any other file.

4. Sharing and selling of data

We do not sell, rent, trade or share any data, because we never receive any. When you choose to share a file (for example an APK backup or a ZIP), the app passes it to the app you pick through the Android share sheet.

5. Security

Because the app cannot connect to the internet, your files and app information cannot be sent anywhere by the app. Its own data is kept in private storage protected by Android. Password-protected ZIP files you create use the encryption you select (AES-256).

6. Data retention and deletion

Settings and history stay on your device until you clear the app data or uninstall the app. We hold no copy of anything, so there is nothing for us to delete.

7. Children

Samt Files is a general-purpose utility app and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.
